Students of III - Sapphire pose while working on their gift wrapping project for RC and R. Taken in our new room for this school year. This school year I was only given one section for TLE areas.

Gift Wrapping

Materials

empty cartoons
tissue
white glue
brush
container for glue
old newspaper
water
paint

Procedure:
1. Mix small amount of glue with water
2. Cover pieces of tissue on the box
3. Apply the mixture of white glue on the box using a brush
4. Continue the process until all the box are covered
5. Let it dry.
6. Paint the box with the desired color or design.

Salt Surprise




Materials:

very fine salt (recommended iodized salt)
colored chalk
empty bottle (must come in a unique shape or size)
containers (two or three depending on color combination)
funnel
old newspaper

Procedure:
1. Cover the table with old newspapers
2. Prepare the needed materials (above)
3. Place a small amount of salt on the containers
(amount depends on ones design)
4. Get one piece of colored chalk and rub it against the salt until all the salt has the color of the chalk.
5. Then transfer the colored salt on the empty bottle, be sure its very dry.
6. Repeat the procedure until the bottles are filled.
7. Use different colors for a very unique effect.

Recycled Maong Bag

Materials

old maong
zipper
scissors
tape measure
sewing machine
piece of cloth as lining
cord for handle
accessories

Procedure

1.Cut the old maong near just below the crotch
2.Inverse the maong and close the opened part by stitching either by hand or sewing machine forming it into a pouch or bag.
3.Create the design on both sides of the maong using the desired accessories like beads, patches or sequence.
4.Sew the lining forming a pouch and attached it on the waist part of the maong.
4. Attached the zipper.
5. Attached the handle
